Himalayan Roots has a very pleasant atmosphere with an open-air dining area and soothing music, which initially made the place feel quite inviting. We were traveling from Delhi to Nainital and deliberately passed through the busy Haldwani city just to dine here, as we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be a major disappointment. The chicken we were served was undercooked and had a raw smell, which completely spoiled the experience. Considering the high pricing, the quality of food did not justify the cost at all. While the ambience and setting are nice, the food quality needs serious improvement to match the prices and expectations. *WARNING: AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS! * Title: DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AT [Himalayan roots] - Haldwani's Worst I had the misfortune of visiting this dump and it's safe to say it was a complete waste of money . The food was an insult to culinary arts: - Butter masala had TOMATO GRAVY - Chaap was dry and pathetic - Sarso saag was a flavorless disaster The service? Forget about it. Staff seemed completely uninterested in our experience. Left almost half the food untouched and they didn't even bother to ask if everything was okay . DO NOT VISIT this place unless you want to ruin your meal and mood. Not worth the money or the disappointment . *Steer clear of this restaurant, folks! *.
