We stopped at Konig Hotel & Restaurant after seeing a few boards, assuming it would be a good and welcoming place to eat — but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in India. First of all, they don’t serve chai or coffee during lunch hours. I’ve never seen a restaurant in India that refuses basic tea or coffee during lunchtime. It’s unbelievable. On top of that, they had no paranthas available, which is shocking for a place that claims to serve proper food. They were pushing a ₹450 per head buffet that looked extremely greasy and unappetizing. Absolutely not worth the money. The only menu available for ordering was extremely limited — sharing it here so people know before wasting their time. To top it off, they don’t even serve tea to drivers. What kind of hospitality is this? Drivers are the ones who need tea the most to stay energized and alert. Completely unacceptable. We walked out disappointed, frustrated, and shocked at the level of service. Definitely not recommended. Avoid unless you want a bad experience. Service: 1
