SCAM ALERT: Do NOT Visit High Five Pub, Planet Mall, Siliguri (Rating: 1/5 - Should be ZERO) Date of Visit: October 30, 2025 This establishment is engaging in blatant billing fraud and illegal tax practices. I am writing this review as an urgent warning to all potential customers: avoid this place entirely. They are actively trying to cheat their customers to inflate their profits. 1. Direct Billing Fraud (Adding Unordered Items) My friend and I ordered 5 beers, two plates of Chicken Lollipop, and one plate of Prawns fish. The initial bill presented was an absurd ₹7,500. Knowing the order did not justify that amount, I scrutinized the breakdown. Sure enough, they had fraudulently added a Chicken Wing plate and an extra Beer that we never ordered, costing approximately ₹1,199. When I confronted the staff, specifically the person I believe was the manager or owner, Mr. Samrat, he offered weak excuses, calling it a "mistake." It was only after I insisted that he reluctantly accepted the mistake and removed the unauthorized items. This was not a mistake; it was an attempt at theft, hoping a patron who had been drinking would simply pay and leave. 2. Deceptive and Illegal Double Taxation The fraudulent billing was only half the problem. When reviewing the taxes, the practices are completely unacceptable: GST on Menu Price: They charge 5% GST on the listed menu price. While some menu prices are ex-tax, charging GST on an already high price is one thing. The Second Illegal Tax (VAT): On top of the GST-inclusive amount, they added an additional 5% VAT (Value Added Tax) to the final total. This is nothing short of illegal double taxation and a complete scam. VAT has been replaced by GST in India's tax structure, making this charge completely bogus. They are cheaters doing anything possible just to make extra money. I was new to the area and paid the corrected, but still highly inflated, bill. My final suggestion is simple: Do not visit High Five Pub at Planet Mall. They are running a scam and will try to charge you for items and taxes you never ordered or owe. Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Fabulous Place to party Superenergetic environment. Great crowded. Finger licking food. Good place to gather with family and friends. We loved it and specially there pricing is affordable with great discounts.
