Would definitely recommend black Pearl chicken and chorizo with hummus both of these were delicious I also tried their beef steak and ordered it medium rare...and it came out perfect Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were in Margao around lunchtime and, struggling to find something new to try, ended up heading to Bab’a Hideout in Benaulim. True to its name, it isn’t easy to spot, and we were a bit apprehensive at first—but curiosity won. The place is surprisingly huge, with the bonus of private parking. Afternoons seem fairly quiet, which worked in our favour. Our waiter, Kamal, was genuinely pleasant and handled our rather specific instructions with ease. We started with drinks, and I must say the Flero Bab gin cocktail was excellent—good enough to deserve a repeat order. My wife opted for the hot toddy with brandy, and overall the bar counter easily scored an 10/10. Coming to the food: • Chicken Manchow soup: 9/10 • Pirate rum chicken: 8/10 • Teriyaki fish with lemon, basil & rice: 7/10 The food was decent overall, though a small note for the chef—chicken in such dishes can turn chewy if even slightly overcooked. The ambience is a solid 10/10, and it was nice to learn that the place is Goan-run. All in all, a pleasant surprise, and definitely a spot we’ll return to—next time with friends. Had an amazing experience at Bab's Hideout. The Chouris Pulao and Beef Tongue Roast were absolutely delicious! Great service, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic food. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200
