As a bhai-duj occasion on 21/10/17, I went to Havmor Restaurant, L. P. Savani Road, Surat, Gujrat with my family including my jijaji, my sister and 3 years old niece. At the midst of our main course when we asked for THE TACO TWIST icecream for my niece. After seeing their diwali special catalogue, The 3 years old was attracted to the picture of ice cream which was taco twist so we ordered that for her. It was at the point where almost half of the icecream she had eaten and my Jijaji Vaibhav Shah found that there is a MOSQUITO with spread of its legs in almost all directions in that ice cream.(Picture is attached. Please refer). It was indeed DEAD MOSQUITO which must be fallen Inside while MANUFACTURING the icecream (vanilla flavour scoop). Let me throw some light that how our this dreadful dinner started actually. As usual it's festival season all around, we waited for almost 45 minutes. We entered inside at 8:50PM, service was sincerely PATHETIC. The one who was taking order has confessed that "Sir, too much rush and less men power. Half of the staff is on leave." When our 3 years old child finished her dinner early we asked them for finger bowl 3-4 times, still nothing came. We avoided to be in quarrel. Each and every course came after interval of 15-20 mins, half of the things we served ourselves. We avoided all such facts as we don't wanted to be in any dispute on auspicious day. Then while having their 'AVADHI DUM BIRYANI', My jijaji Vaibhav Shah found HAIR inside. We neglected this too. Then came ice cream where it was not at all small issue. It was all about life of 3 years old child who has already consumed half of that ICE CREAM. Who will be responsible if she will suffer from any FOOD POISONING? With icecream we ordered SIZZLING BROWNIE, and to OUR surprise; In front of Service Manager, what we found is HAIR on Top of that brownie. "DO HAVMOR OFFER HAIR AND MOSQUITO AS ICECREAM TOPPINGS?" That's what I want to ask them. At 10:40pm sevice manager approached us with sorry and said that you don't need to pay anything. Well, we refused their offer as we belong to family who follow principles and ethics. We went for some occasion, and ultimately we paid except 295 of that icecream. As we believe whatever we ate, we should pay. As I asked them to give us in writing about same they refused. Service manager Sandeep Mukherjee told us that, General Manager, Havmor from ahmedabad will call you by 11am tomorrow. But I asked him to either mail or write physically then only so further we received immediate call from General Manager, Ahmedabad Mr. Mukherjee. He conveyed his apology and etc etc which all restaurant chains usually do. He also offered us to waive off the bill which we disagreed and ask them to issue the bill and collect the amount. He asuured two things to me, 1) Sir, I shall mail you by 12 noon, 23rd, Oct, '17 and 2) I shall come to Surat and meet you personally. The real thing is, how these all restaurant chains are succeeding even after such kind of service and quality. The plain naan for which they charge you 79 + GST, It is hardly costing them 6-7 rupees. We are giving them whatver amount they charges because of the amenities and surrounding they provide. But then what about quality. Is it like if they offer shit in a great ambience and atmosphere, Will it turn into delicious taste?? Today, it's my 3 years old niece, and Vaibhav Shah's daughter, tomorrow it can be your daughter or son!
