Ambiance is warming suitable for family dinner but overall service is very slow. We ordered as per their staff’s recommendation.
Pan Fried Chilli Fish @ Rs.425 (3/5)
-------------------------------------------------
Very thin fish slices, nice crispy fried but was too tangy and saucy. I've tried far better pan-fried fish than this. This don't justify the price tag.
Egg Fried Rice @ Rs.250 (1/5)
-------------------------------------------
It was like the buffet rice at Haka that is unlimited but so bland that no one wants to take it more. No flavours, no veggies, no spices just steamed rice mixed with scrambled eggs. Except the huge quantity the taste was just as bogus as any cheap Chinese buffet main course.
Chicken Noodles @ Rs.290 (2/5)
---------------------------------------------
Same like rice huge quantity but taste was way behind than any proper Chinese restaurant. Unlike friend rice ample chicken, egg and veggie were present but overall not impressive.
Green Chili Chicken @ Rs.395 (2/5)
-------------------------------------------------
Too much vinegar in the gravy made the gravy sour, mediocre chicken pieces that tasted very poor like cheap buffet restaurants. Nowhere their items justified the price.Â
Conclusion
-------------------
Staffs here were crazy high, obviously we weren't happy with the food so while paying the bill we gradually said the waiter the food wasn't good. He just gave a dirty smile and went away, like get lost we got our money. Very pathetic attitude.Â
Basically, Hatari is overpriced and overhyped place targeted towards people who don't understand food much, has a lot of money just to show off that they're going to a good restaurant. LOL.
They're so sophisticated fine dine that they don't even understand the difference between napkin and toilet paper. Yes, you'll find toilet paper roll near the basin.
There are thousands of good restaurants all across the city, choose any and I guarantee that will be better than Hatari.
