Chinese and Indian cuisines are recommended to taste at this restaurant. To try nicely cooked panipuri, samosa chaat and chaat is a really good idea. The chef at Harilal's cooks tasty jalebi, snack cakes and gulab jamun. You will be offered good bitter. As a number of guests state, lassi is really delicious.
Food delivery is a big plus of this place. The terrific staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. People mention that the service is prompt here. Very bad quality of food and bad customer service as well. Ordered pani puri and Ghee Jalebi, even though I had asked for thin and crunchy jalebi, they prepared thick in a hurry. Aroma of pure ghee was missing, for a food item priced @₹ 500/Kg.( 2.5x market price) Taste should be remarkable. But that was totally missing. And when I complained, instead of acknowledging the issue the staff at cash counter just argued with me little and then no response kind of behaviour. One of Patna's finest sweet n snack chains. All items are excellent and so is the hospitality. Highly recommended! Update: Kulfi served was horrible, the toppings totally took out the sweetness, to be avoided. It's also steeply priced at Rs. 100. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I rarely dine in at Harilal's, typically preferring to order their delicious food through Zomato. Unfortunately, my first in-restaurant experience was disappointing. When I arrived around 1 PM, nearly everything on the menu was unavailable except for chole bhature, which ruined my mood. The service was extremely slow, with long waits for both ordering and food delivery. Most concerning was that they didn't offer water for 10-15 minutes after seating. In summer especially, water should be the first thing served—a basic hospitality practice I'd extend to guests in my own home. For a business in the hospitality industry, this seems like a fundamental training oversight. On a positive note, the food quality was excellent as usual.
