Jauzi Halwa .. yummm... Made with Jaifal and saffron and loads of dry fruits. Worth every penny... 2000/- per kg This is the iconic cuisine of Hyderabad, you can't miss it and this taste cannot be obtained anywhere else...

Hameedi Confectionary is a very popular and much-hyped spot near Nampally, right opposite MJ Market. Honestly, the place seems to thrive more on its reputation than on the actual quality of most items. The only thing that truly stands out is their famous halwa – it is indeed good and worth trying once. Apart from that, the rest of the items don’t really live up to the hype. The taste is average at best, and definitely not something I’d go out of my way for again. If you’re visiting, try the halwa, but don’t expect the same level of quality across their other offerings. Overall, it feels like the popularity is more about tradition and hype than actual taste. Rating: 2.5/5

The heritage of Hameedi Confectioners says it all. The one of its kind deserts make this place a heaven for sweet tooth’s. The most famous “Jauzi ka halwa” is very tempting and delicious deserts I ever had. This place is recommended if you’re in Hyderabad
