Keep calm and degust African and Chinese cuisines. Food delivery is a big advantage of this restaurant. Taste nicely cooked biryani, chicken and shawarma. The positive aspect of Halab Restaurant is that the staff is friendly. Nice service is something visitors like here. Prices at this place are worth attention because they're attractive. As guests find it, the ambiance is quiet here. Google users awarded this spot 4.2.

Though they have mentioned there is 10% off , at the time of paying they are telling district is not accepted here. This is soo unfair. They shouldn’t have mentioned in the district if not accepted

This post is regarding my visit to Halab restaurant in RS Puram yesterday for dinner along with my family. This place was in my bucket list for quite some time after being influenced by many social media influencers. On reaching, I couldn’t find a parking spot for my vehicle. The kitchen was visible from the road & I asked some staff standing in the kitchen if they have some dedicated parking place for customers but all I got was a blind stare. After moving up & down the road twice & shifting two bikes I finally made some space for my car right opposite to the restaurant in full view of their kitchen staff who were just looking at me all the while when I was struggling with the bikes to park. Maybe it was my mistake to expect a helping hand from them. Entered the hotel & noticed it was in a house set up with rooms modified to accommodate tables & chairs for customers. Being a weekday, It was not very busy with about two tables being occupied. Found one room which had a sofa & sat there along with my family. The hotel staff came immediately & asked me to vacate that place. I asked them what happened, they told me it was already booked for 9 pm. Since 9 pm was over an hour away, I requested them to let me sit there as we were planning to eat light & would surely leave before that time. But I got a strict NO in reply to this. Maybe it was again my mistake to sit at a non-assigned table when the hotel was almost empty I was later designated a table & we went sat there. A few moments later, the same staff came to me asking for my order. I requested for a menu card for which he replied a few sections of the menu are not available as the kitchen is under renovation so they won’t be giving me a menu card. I told it’s ok if some sections are not available at least give me the menu card for which he again told NO & read out about three items asking me to order from them. This was the third strike for me & I decided to leave the place. I saw a deep sense of relief in the face of the staff when I told him about my decision. He was more than happy. Right from the beginning, the entire experience was highly unwelcoming. Their attitude was such that they didn’t want me to sit down but actually leave. When we pay a premium for food at a fine dine, we are not only paying for the food but for the experience as well. The employees play a pivotal role in creating this experience for the customer. It is sad that I had to walk out of this place without trying out any of their food. The owner has put in a lot of time effort & money into making this place but I strongly believe same effort should also be put into training the staff as well. Being a fairly new place, this is of utmost importance as I have noticed the waiters of mass crowd chain restaurants who handle 50x the customer to be much better with always a smile on their faces!! Halab is surely a NO-GO after this for me!!! Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
