Haji Kadar's Pearls Star Chinese Indian Fast Food was once known for its Chinese and Indian cuisine—a popular spot before the pandemic. Unfortunately, it seems to have lost its charm in the post-pandemic era, and now I understand why. Back in the day, the food was good, the service was decent, and the owner would personally check if everything was up to the mark. However, my recent visit was a complete disappointment. The place is poorly maintained, with no regard for hygiene. We ordered soup, and to our shock, the waiter had his fingers in the soup while serving it! He had just finished cleaning the table and didn’t even bother to wash his hands. We also ordered tandoori chicken, which was drenched in oil—so much so that the oil was literally dripping off the chicken. It lacked flavor and had excess masala, making the experience even worse. Despite its prime location, the restaurant desperately needs the owner's attention to address hygiene and ensure a better customer experience. Until these issues are resolved, I wouldn’t recommend visiting.
