Strawberry ice cream stick was unavailable though showed 'available' when ordering. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Belgian chocolate ice cream also has a grainy feel the mouth.. we've been having this for years. Quality feels different.

I’m truly disappointed and heartbroken to share my experience at the Gelato India store at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, especially because it seems like the staff is taking advantage of their position to scam customers. On March 23, 2025, at around 10:00 PM, I visited the store and ordered two scoops of ice cream—one vanilla and one chocolate. The total charged was ₹500, which I paid in cash. Upon reviewing the bill later, my wife noticed that a service charge had been applied, which is not applicable to takeaway orders. When she confronted the staff, three employees were present, including a floor manager. The staff immediately seemed aware of the error and refunded ₹40, but when my wife continued to check the GST details, they reluctantly acknowledged that they owed us another ₹6. In total, we received ₹46 back. However, the entire situation felt suspicious and deliberate. It seems like they intentionally tried to overcharge us, knowing that we might not notice. This kind of behavior is especially disheartening from such a well-known brand located in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. It makes me wonder how many other customers have been scammed this way. The staff even tried to make us sit at a table while we reviewed the bill, likely to manipulate the situation into looking like a dine-in order so they could justify the service charge. This feels like a calculated scam, and I’m left feeling cheated. I have attached a copy of the bill for reference and also have photos of the staff involved. While I don’t wish to expose them personally, I believe @haagandazsindia needs to investigate this matter thoroughly. I strongly urge @haagandazsindia to take strict action against the floor manager and the two staff members who served us. This behavior is unacceptable, and I hope they will rectify this issue to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.
