Hype - Disappointing Buffet ExperienceToday I visited Hype with high expectations, given its pricing and supposed reputation. However, the experience turned out to be highly disappointing and far from value for money.For a buffet priced at ₹1,499 per person, one would naturally expect a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Unfortunately, Hype offers an extremely limited spread that leaves customers feeling shortchanged. The starters were particularly underwhelming, with just two vegetarian options and two non-vegetarian options, which is shockingly inadequate for the price point.The main course was equally disappointing. The vegetarian selection included only one paneer dish, one mixed vegetable dish, and dal makhni, while the non-vegetarian section had just one chicken gravy item—and that’s it! No variety, no thoughtfulness in menu curation, and certainly no justification for the premium price tag.Comparing Hype to other buffet restaurants in the same price range, it falls drastically short. Competitors offer a far richer spread with multiple appetizers, diverse curries, international selections, live counters, and dessert options, whereas Hype feels like a blatant rip-off.If you’re considering visiting Hype for a buffet, save your money and look elsewhere. The limited food choices, lack of variety, and steep pricing make it one of the least satisfying dining experiences in town. You’re better off spending your hard-earned money at places that truly offer value and variety.Verdict: Overpriced, underwhelming, and NOT recommended.
