We had dinner at Hamsa Chennai, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was outstanding — every dish was crafted with perfection and heart. The ambience felt truly royal, and the service was warm and attentive. Our heartfelt appreciation to the chef and the management team for creating such a beautiful evening for Us. Highly recommended! This was the worst experience ever! We wait 2 hrs for a table and when we ordered it took them 2 more hrs to bring the order but when we asked the server instead of saying that too many people were there he said we only ordered 20 minutes ago. He could have said the truth but he lied that is what made me angry. And the food was not worth the ratings. Worst experience ever! At first glance, nice cozy dimly lit architecturally rich and opulent cutlery. Even the taste of every single dish was undeniably good. We had the thali lunch which is predominantly north Indian fare that included biryani, Indian breads, payasam , salads ,paneer and so on. Ended with ice cream after a small cup of curd rice. What could be better was... the seating for two people is set on a small table against the wall leaving us feeling quite claustrophobic. And the wall decor clearly is showing age with it being dusty and dirty on closer inspection. Other than that, the lunch was totally satisfactory in terms of presentation and taste.
