We had an extremely disappointing second visit to Hamsa. Sadly the service quality had dropped or we just didn’t notice it the first time. I see why it is overhyped now. The waiters weren’t intuitive at all lacked professionalism. It had been a long time since we finished all our food and we packed everything to leave and then they decided to bring the ice cream from the thali package. The front house person seemed to be more interested in scouting and giving extra attention to some special guests that he barely acknowledged us. On top of everything what shocked me the most was they charged the food that was served for a one year old baby. In my entire experience in dining in several high end restaurants in chennai this was the first time this has happened. I don’t mind paying for my baby’s food, but the moral is wrong! Not worth the hype or the money. Never again! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch
