Dated :- 20/04/2025 I had a very disappointing and unhygienic experience at Guru Dev Hotel in Kalyan West. I ordered idli sambar and was shocked to find a cockroach in the food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the kitchen. I immediately informed the staff, but there was no proper apology or concern shown. Food safety should be a top priority for any restaurant, and such negligence is dangerous to customers’ health. I strongly urge the management to take strict action and improve their hygiene practices. Not recommend . Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First visited Hotel Gurudev when I briefly lived in Kalyan in the year 2006. It was the first time I loved Medu Wada ever...and wanted to try this place again for nostalgic reasons. The food is still Good, crispy Wada in a slightly sweet sambar. Liked the Misal Pav as well. The interiors hasn't been updated since the first time I visited in 2006. Either ways it was a pleasant experience with decent place to stop for snacks. The staff were courteous and prompt.
