I recently dropped by for a meal with mu family, and here is my honest take. The Vibe & Service. Tucked away in the peaceful Lodhi Road Market, the location itself is a huge plus. It’s away from the usual chaotic Delhi hustle, making it a calm spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The service is prompt, and the staff is warm and attentive. However, if I had to nitpick, the interiors feel a little dated. A modern refresh to the decor would really elevate the whole dining experience to match the high quality of the food. The Food & Drinks. The food here is the real star. They serve Japanese cuisine but with a subtle Indian flair, which makes the flavours incredibly comforting and delicious. The sushi is absolutely fresh, beautifully rolled, and packed with flavour. What really surprised me, though, was the vegetarian section. Finding good vegetarian Japanese food can often be a struggle, but Guppy knocks it out of the park with a variety for vegetarians. You definitely won't feel like you are just stuck with cucumber rolls! To wash it all down, they have a great selection of drinks. Whether you are in the mood for a well-crafted cocktail or a refreshing mocktail, their bar menu is spot on. Overall, Guppy offers a fantastic dining experience. Between the great food, stellar sushi, impressive veg menu, and wonderfully calm atmosphere, it is highly recommended.
