That's a nice idea to order nicely cooked vegetable pizza, white sauce pasta and spring rolls. The recipe for success of this cafe is its good brownies, waffles and ice cream. Get your meal started with delicious coffee.
The professional staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at Gulp 'n Giggle Cafe is something one can name enjoyable. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are reasonable. As you can see, this place provides the terrific decor. The pretty atmosphere makes a good impression on customers. A Disappointing Café Experience: A Lesson in Poor Hospitality A café should be a place of comfort—a space where one can work, relax, or simply enjoy a moment of peace. My first visit here was excellent: the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was good, and I felt at ease. That’s why I returned. Unfortunately, this time, the experience took a turn that made it clear that this establishment does not prioritize the safety or comfort of its customers. 1. The Lingering Impact of a Hostile Environment Even when violence doesn’t occur, the threat of it is enough to ruin an experience. No one should have to second-guess their safety in a café. The tension in the air was undeniable, and the way aggression was allowed to escalate left a lasting impression. I came here to work, not to engage in or witness a power struggle. Yet, instead of an environment that encouraged focus, I was forced to navigate an unnecessary display of hostility. 2. The Risk It Posed to Other Customers What made this even worse was knowing that other customers would eventually walk into this situation without realizing the undercurrent of aggression at play. When four women entered later, I couldn’t help but think about how this kind of environment forces people to instinctively assess whether they are walking into a safe space. No customer should have to make a calculated risk just to enjoy a cup of coffee. A café that tolerates or ignores such tensions (No less by the owners - young) is actively failing its patrons. 3. A Complete Failure in Hospitality Good hospitality is about making people feel welcome—not just tolerating their presence. It’s about ensuring that customers can sit down without worrying about unnecessary hostility. If a customer has to spend mental energy figuring out whether they will be left alone or drawn into conflict, the café has already failed in its purpose. There is nothing welcoming about an environment where unchecked aggression is allowed to fester. 4. A Fundamental Lack of Respect Respect in public spaces is a basic expectation, not a privilege that customers should have to earn. The fact that I had to consciously maneuver around someone’s aggressive energy just to be left in peace says a lot about how little this café values customer experience. No one should have to engage in a psychological game of de-escalation just to drink their coffee. If an establishment allows this kind of tension to thrive, it is essentially sending the message that customer comfort is not a priority. 5. Why I Wouldn’t Spend Another Rupee Here Spending money at a business is an endorsement of its values. A café that allows unchecked hostility, disregards customer comfort, and does nothing to manage an escalating situation does not deserve my money. There are plenty of places that offer good coffee, good service, and—most importantly—a sense of security. I’d rather support a business that respects its customers than one that forces them to endure unnecessary hostility. Final Verdict This café had a chance to build loyalty. Instead, it made it clear that customer well-being is an afterthought. No one should have to navigate this kind of environment just to enjoy a simple café visit. If an establishment cannot guarantee a peaceful and welcoming experience, then it does not deserve to stay in business. I won’t be returning.
