Gulab Halwa (sweet) is famous sweet of Pali. It is a kind of milk cake. It was discovered by Mr Gulabji, therefore it is named as Gulab Halwa. Store has also opened a branch in Jodhpur. I recently visited "Gulab Halwa Wala," a renowned sweet shop known for its traditional Indian desserts, and it was an extraordinary experience. The shop, though modest in size, exudes a nostalgic charm with its rustic décor and the enticing aroma of freshly made sweets wafting through the air. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the gulab halwa, a specialty of the house. The halwa was rich and flavorful, made with pure desi ghee, and infused with the subtle fragrance of cardamom and rose. Each bite melted in my mouth, leaving a lingering sweetness that was absolutely divine. The texture was perfect, neither too dry nor too sticky, showcasing the expertise and dedication of the artisans behind the counter. In addition to the gulab halwa, I sampled a few other treats, including their famous kaju katli and motichoor ladoos. Both were exceptional, with the kaju katli being perfectly smooth and the motichoor ladoos delightfully soft and fragrant. The service was warm and courteous, with the staff eager to explain the ingredients and preparation methods, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
