I bought gol gappe and there were insects in the chickpeas they add with the potato stuffing. Pathetic experience. They have written filtered water outside but what about the filling. Today if I get food poisioning will they pay the medical expenses and compensate for the time i will on bed rest.

Tried dhokla from Gujrat Namkeen recently, and honestly, it was a below-average experience. The dhokla was not fresh - it tasted a bit stale, though still edible. What really ruined it was the chutney. The chutney packets were clearly fermented and gave off a strong sour smell, making them unusable. I had heard good things about this place, but this experience was disappointing. Quality control, especially for packaged items, needs serious improvement. Hoping they take better care going forward. Not something I'd recommend unless they step up their freshne and hygiene standards.
