Got the mexican bowl and it was so yummy. I told them I am vegan so they adjusted it as well. Good experience. Thanks for customising our salads. It was truly needed and you saved our day. the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We took paneer tikka wrap and cobb chicken salad. Both were amazing. On the corner of Contour Road in Gokulam, Mysore, this lovely place called GreenDays Salads (GDS) has become synonymous with health-conscious diners. Don’t get me wrong when I say that this place is a small getaway that hides behind a tiny door. GDS has served the elites from film stars, politicians to common man, who definitely have one thing in mind: Carbs, Protein, Fiber and healthy eating. On my frequent visits to Mysore, which is too often of late, I never forget to visit two places. One is the RRR and the second is definitely GDS. When you binge-eat at RRR all your carbs & fat go haywire. That is when you remember this good old place called GDS to keep all your macronutrients in check and give your stomach some peacetime. The man behind all of this is Nipun and his well oiled team, a well-informed but soft-spoken young hotelier who rode the wave way too early. Seeing the need for a good well-balanced meal, he and his team chalked up a menu that could serve all age groups without a hiccup. This cozy café offers a delightful range of fresh and flavorful salads, rice bowls, smoothies, and more. The ingredients are consistently of high quality, and the portions are measured to keep a check on the dietary requirements of a average person. My go-to rice bowls at GDS are either the Shawarma Chicken or Nasi Goreng. It’s a debate that I have in my mind where I have to choose only one and not binge-eat again. Mind you, the rice bowls are a beautiful blend of well-balanced flavors and spices, and they all aligned so well and are in harmony without overpowering the other. Salads such as the Honey Garlic Chicken and Southwestern Chicken Tinga, are as vibrant as a rainbow and delicious too. They did their homework really well when they had to choose between all those abundant salad options available. The smoothies, especially the Pineapple Mint and Mango Banana, are refreshing and sugar-free. I recall a line from the Thilakan's last movie, Ustad Hotel, a movie about Malabar Biryani. Thilakan, a veteran in acting, delivers an impressive performance with his last line ever that says “food is made to serve the soul”. Here at GDS the team has gone notches ahead with an undertone for healthy meals. Their tagline can easily be, “We Serve The Heart And The Soul”, because they know and believe that a Healthy Heart Is A Happy Heart. This GDS place is a testimony to healthy eating. Good luck to Nipun, his team and the ever-smiling manager behind the counter. You are destined to do bigger things and, mind you son, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
