While we visited Thekkady we had dinner in this cafe. The ambience is everything. It was calm and food here was so good. I personally liked the paratta and chicken "kondatam"( i don't know how to pronounce it). We ordered a fish grill, the veggies and ghee rice the provided for the fish is top notch. when we were there, the chefs cooked food while hearing and singing songs. I enjoyed their vibes. We are from Europe and asked if they could advise us on dishes. They did excellent to recommend, we loved everything. I have a nut allergy and my partner cannot eat onions - a difficult combo in india! They were able to make us dishes fresh that considered our dietary requirements - 10/10! We came back twice and enjoyed it even more the second time Super affordable and didn't even want to take our tip which is very humble. Thank you Grandma's Cafe!
