Grandma’s Cafe - where you pay for a feast but get fed like you’re on a diet !!Walked into Grandma’s Café today without any plans—just thought of giving it a try.The only good thing? The aesthetics. And that’s where the charm ends.The staff is completely unprofessional, with zero sense of hospitality. Despite five empty tables when we arrived, we were made to wait for over 15 minutes. When we asked why, one of the servers casually mentioned that the tables needed to be cleaned and the helpers were “busy”—except they weren’t. We could clearly see them chatting away in a corner.The lack of enthusiasm from the staff was almost unsettling. It felt like they were either underpaid or simply uninterested in their job. Every interaction was met with disinterest, making even the simplest conversation feel like a chore.We were finally seated near a large mirror—where ppl were constantly posing, causing chaos, and making it impossible to enjoy a quiet time. When we shifted to the next table, the staff asked us three times if we had placed our order and what we had ordered. How they manage to run this place without basic order tracking is beyond my understanding.We initially planned to have a good meal, but the avocado toast was enough to kill our expectation . For nearly ₹600, we got five tiny, unimpressive toasts with barely any feta—just a sad garnish, if that I can say!It’s clear that this cafe thrives solely on its decor, drawing in crowds more interested in clicking Instagram-worthy pictures than enjoying a good meal. The place is a chaotic mess, and if you’re looking for a calm spot to sip coffee or meal in peace, this is definitely not it.
