This is a terrible place to go to. The place is essentially run by a fraud manager and the food is pretty average. The manager was one of the rudest and money-minded people I have witnessed. I usually do not review hotels and I should have not visited this place given that there are already a bunch of reviews also referring to bad management and bad food. Yet I never expected them to outright cheat us. It's absolutely embarrassing that in the premises of an esteemed religious institution, a fraud person is allowed to manage the restaurant. One of the worst experiences - both food wise as well as people wise. Terrible.

Govindji Prasadam is located within the ISKON Temple Complex. Thaali, which is highly extensive, is offered as part of Govindji Prasadam's menu. The restaurant is located near the Janki Bridge along the banks of the Holy Ganga. At a fairly affordable price, the restaurant provides a lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and good service. A must go to the location in Rishikesh.
