Amongst the Best way you can start your morning breakfast!! Gopal sweets live up to its hype. Famous for its "Bedmi poori" and gulab jamun, the taste is worth its hype . Located in Kamla nagar, Delhi near Shakti Nagar chowk Delhi, it's been almost 2 decades old at least. We have been eating here since our college days in 2006 and the taste has not changed. Although the price has doubled but still it ranks amongst the best places in North Delhi to satisfy your hunger especially on weekends. The current rate list is shown in the pic as on 18th May 2025. A must visit place for the food lovers. Although it is crowded on weekends, on weekdays it is very spacious. No seating arrangements available you have to stand and eat just like in the eateries. The parking facility is very less and not authorised. Space available only in front of the shop and that too on the main road.

I used to be a great fan of this establishment, but recently, I've noticed a significant decline in its standards. I saw a mouse in the shop, and despite reporting it, no steps were taken to prevent further occurrences. There were also flies on the uncovered aloo masala, and, most disturbingly, a worker used the same knife to scrape something from the floor that they then used to cut the potatoes. While their bedmi puri was once the best in the area, and I've been a loyal customer for over ten years, I'm afraid I can no longer eat there. I would advise avoiding this place unless it undergoes significant renovations, or you have comprehensive health insurance.

Delhi is food capital, especially for North Indian Punjabi food. If you know someone here who shares your passion for food, you run the risk of settling down here permanently. Kamala Nagar in old Delhi is one such place, full of generation old food outlets that specialise in something that’s unique. Gopal Sweet Corner is one such place, known particularly for Bedmi ( a poori like preparation that is made of multiple pulses or daals, served with assorted pickles and chuntys), Paneer Bread Pakoda and Samosa besides a lot more. Try their lassi (sweet diluted curd) with a creamy thik layer. Go with an empty stomach so that you can try all Gopal Sweets Corner has to offer. You can’t miss this ! Delhi is lit when it comes to food.
