Chinese cuisine is a must-taste one at this restaurant. Tasty chicken tikka, prawns and sandwiches might be what you need. Most guests recommend trying good ice cream. The whole impression won't be complete without coffee that is great here.

Coming to the best thing of this place, the food! To start with the drinks, we had a Rose lassi and Choco Iced coffee. The lassi was thick blend but the chillness was lesser than it should be. The choco iced tea tasted refreshing except that the ice were added when it was taken out of the blender which made it more watery. Then we went on to order their Veg Coleslaw. And hands down this was one of the best I had tasted.. It was so fresh that I asked for extra Mayo. Then I had the Golden fried babycorn which is a fingerfood, but was bit more appetizing the hunger. This might not be the best thing they have to offer but it wasn't bad either.
The service is good but serving time was more for the dishes we ordered. North Indian dishes were going in full swing.
Now, the money matters - This place is not easy on your purse if you live on a strict budget but one must try and go here once.
Goodman Restaurant & Grill is located at Uthandi on the LHS when coming from the city and it shares the complex with Nilgiris and a beauty parlor. Though there isn't a designated parking space, the frontage is quite enough to park a couple of cars. This space could use some maintenance as it's an uneven surface with stones and rocks which should be dealt with. Goodman is located on the first floor. Ambience wise there isn't much to write about as it's a decent looking place without much decor. There's a wall mounted TV for some entertainment if needed.
We ordered a Tawa Masala Fish Fry, Chicken Tikka, Dragon Chicken in gravy, Szechwan fried rice and Fresh lime soda. Tawa fish was full of flavor and a bit too high on the spice meter. Tikka was really good and it was cooked to perfection. Noodles was decent but it didn't have the szechuan flavor that was asked for. Dragon chicken was very OKish. The meat was good but the gravy lacked that required punch. The chinese items weren't restaurant level.
Service was excellent. I certainly was surprised on how good the service is. It was on par with star hotels and I least expected it in a restaurant like this. There is so much that they can do on the food part but my rating is predominantly for their splendid service that bowled me over. The bill for above mentioned items is Rs850, which I think is a good value for money. Only if they tweak their dishes a bit and make it more delicious, this place is sure to become a hot spot.
