Firkin Foyer restaurant must be the worst in Mysore. Attended the Thai food Mela, orders took very very long time. Time between orders are at the maximum, that we have to finish the dinner in the middle. Portion sizes are very small and chicken starter got served with a bad chicken pieces.
Stewards did not even know about the items mentioned in the menu. When serving fired rice, ppl are least bother to keep the sauces in the table.
A decent place to have a family dinner or on a bigger scale you can plan for a corporate party. Food and ambience is good only issue is with the slow service.
This place needs a review
It deserves one.
So it was my friends birthday and we were looking for a new place to go to. We didn’t want to go to our usual options. So I just remembered this place I had seen near the Jk tyre factory which looked exciting from outside but I had never heard anyone going there ever.
We checked out the pictures, spoke to the staff and finally after no new options available decided to give this place a try.
Golden Landmark is a resort which is situated on the outskirts of Mysore and it is HUGE. You will see it’s garden expanding endlessly.
We reached there and we were the only people there, good for us we were a big group.
It looked so beautiful and serene in the night.
The restaurant is like a glass house. All white, three side floor to roof glass, facing the garden.
It was perfect
Starting about the food and service
Since we were the only people there, we had the entire attention of the staff. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was hospitable.
The food was very good. Some dishes, even though so simple were just plain amazing, like there aloo gobhi.
The fish fingers were a Hit among my non-veg friends and was ordered twice.
Chicken manchurian had my friend licking the plate for more.
Everyone loved the Curd rice.
The food is great.
The service is nice
Ambience is too good
Go in a big group and enjoy the place.
All the girls in the gang were happy cause they got to click some awesome pictures with the beautiful background.
