Disappointed with Cafe Hawkers: Forced Service Charge Ruined the Experience So, went to Cafe Hawkers the other day and man, it was a letdown. Loved their Hakka Noodles, but everything else sucked. Why? Because they forced us to pay a service charge, saying it's mandatory since we got a discount from Zomato. Like seriously? We didn't ask for the discount, they offered it! We pay for Zomato Gold and EazyDiner Prime to enjoy our meals hassle-free, not to deal with this nonsense. Won't be going back there again, that's for sure. The essence of dining memberships like Zomato Gold and EazyDiner Prime is to explore new eateries and indulge in culinary delights without worrying about the bill. However, establishments like Cafe Hawkers completely disregard this notion by enforcing unnecessary charges under the guise of discount availed. While I appreciated the flavors of their Hakka Noodles, the sour taste left by the mandatory service charge policy overshadowed any positive aspects of the dining experience. As a result, despite the enjoyable dish, I have no intention of revisiting Cafe Hawkers in the future. Vegetarian options: Noodles, Fried Rice and once of other stuff available in Veg Choices Dietary restrictions: No restrictions as such Parking: You need to use parking of ambience mall itself. This cafe is on 3rd floor I think, no designated or valet parking as such. I just loved the place. The food is very yummy not to miss I love the fish. Pasta is very very spicy yet able to hold its essence. Overall everything from ambience to food was good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
