We had a pleasant dinner overall, but two major issues stood out. First, the sizzlers were disappointing in taste — considering the brand name and price, they didn’t live up to the restaurant’s aura. Second, our dal makhani shockingly contained small pieces of stone, which is unacceptable at a place of this standard. Unfortunately, my mom experienced discomfort after biting into one. On the positive side, the staff was polite and helpful, and they did try to assist, but the overall experience was let down by these incidents. Also, gratuity was added automatically to the bill, which we requested to be removed. In short, this place is fine if you’re already in the mall with limited options, but not something we’d go out of the way for. Ordered full tandoori chicken this afternoon and to my surprise what I was served just four small pieces consisting of one leg piece one wing piece and two more small pieces and by weight the total would have been hardly 100-150 gms of meat. I still wonder how can they serve less than a half of chicken in the name of full tandoori chicken. I am at a loss to understand where was its other leg and wing and other parts? Had that chicken lost those parts in an accident? This is total cheating with the customers and the authorities need to take cognizance of my complaint. And the price of these small four pieces of tandoori chicken, whopping Rs 649/- tooooo much by any standards. Exorbitant rates for other items as well. Tandoori naan plain for Rs 99/-, fresh lime soda for Rs 299/- a glass of 250 ml, coke (tin) for Rs 159/- ( normally available for Rs 30-40), half butter chicken (three small pieces in gravy) for Rs 499/- beating even the prices of a 5-star hotel. I would like all the people intending to dine there first check the rates and enquire about the portion/size of the dish they are ordering and I am sure they are in for a total disappointment. The service was also very slow and one had to request repeatedly for some service. I can't find an option here to post a picture of the dish which I was served.
