I have no clue why this place has such a high rating. The food is very average (I'm mallu btw) and the service is super slow. Expect 30-40 mins wait after you place the order. Nor is it particularly cheap. It's as much as any mid level restaurant.Ambience is zero. It's dingy and dirty, with only 4 or 5 tables. So they'll pack in strangers in the same table. One could say it's like a mess, but a bad one at that.

God's own cafe has been at the back of our head for a while.Keep in mind over the weekend it might be hard to find parking as it's at the end of a very very street.Let's be honest here , it's more of a mess than a full fledged restaurant. But it's a dam dam good mess.They don't have a menu.You are greeted by a very enthusiastic chap , asked to sit down and given the low-down as to what to expect.We ordered 5 portions of Appams , Chicken Curry and Kadla Curry.To our shock and amazement the meal was started off with butter milk and ended with Paisam ( Kheer ) which was completely free of cost.The entire meal cost us Rs. 300 and we could not be more satisfied.Few points to note.1) service time is to be noted , it takes a while to get your food.2) there is an all permeating smell of meat and non veg through out the place.For me it doens't make a huge difference , but might be a turn off for the veggies.All in all , amazing place.Will def go again.
