I recently visited Godavari Military Hotel in Vijayawada and tried their Godavari Special Thali. The experience was quite satisfying overall. The fish roast and fish curry were the clear highlights – perfectly cooked with rich, authentic flavors that truly stood out. However, the mutton curry was just average and could use a bit more depth in flavor. The service was prompt, and the ambiance reflected a rustic charm that added to the dining experience. A great place for seafood lovers, and I would definitely recommend trying the fish dishes. 4/5 stars! The hotel as the name suggests serves non vegetarian dishes of Godavari. We have tried Seafood Thali which comes with Fish Pulusu, Fish fry, prawn curry, sambar, curd and sweet. The fishes are Catla (a freshwater fish and not a seafood). Also we ordered Crab Roast. The dishes are very good and must try place. The ambience of the hotel is good and situated in a peaceful residential area. You will get lots of parking space.
