I have been purchasing different types of delicacies from Jayeeta over the year with my inclination towards trying something different. Hence, I have tried her bhorta platter, biran, kebab platter amongst other things. This one is a review for one such kebab platter consisting of fish, prawn, chicken, mutton and pork kebabs across global cuisines showing how beautifully experiments can work out if you indulge in it. I hope this encourages other to try her offerings more. Read on to read the entire review. বৃষ্টির দিনে যখন বাড়ি আসে kebab platter আর আমি খুশি হয়ে গিয়ে delivery লোকটাকে এক কথায় একটু এক্সট্রা পেমেন্ট করতে রাজি হয়ে যাই। (It's a pain in the ass trying to write in Bengali script on my samsung galaxy phone. I used to use the Google Indic Keyboard earlier but that doesn't work here and their own system seems a bit problematic to me) Thank you for bringing this to me. I forgot to mention the honesty of the last guy who delivered the biran a week ago. Old man sent me back 3 rupees when I paid him extra by mistake. Anyway coming back to this delightful kebab platter from Jayeeta Ghosh Haarir Khobor I totally loved this experiment and I am spoilt for choices. This is what I called "Two of Everything Good" kind of thing, although one can make it even better and extravagant with a beef, lamb and other kinds of bird meat but that would make it another level expensive. I hope you grow big enough to experiment that one day. Now, coming to the kebabs, the pork souvlaki was delicate and perfectly cooked but the mutton shammi kebab and the prawn kolmi took my heart. That kolmi was such a simplified lovely thing to eat that I realised I ate it in the wrong order. I should have started with the prawn kolmi, then went on to eat a different texture bengali style fish takti kebab, then the murg sultani (creamy delicious thing which made me satisfied with chicken once in life), and then the mutton shammi kebab and the pork skewers. Overall, fully satisfied my kebab cravings. I have kept a little bit of everything to taste it again tomorrow. This is another aspect of me I tend to prolong things which I love the most. I usually only keep a bit of red meat items for next day tasting but this time since everything was that good, I have kept a bit of everything. Reminds of that powerpuff girls opening sequence line (Sugar & Spice and everything nice.) This platter was that everything nice for me. Cartoon watchers would like it. Suddenly feel like Bubbles although I am not freeing animals from the zoo like her rather eating them.
