Gesmo Restaurant August 2023: The restaurant is very close to Leh Main Market Street. It's got a great ambience. There's a lovely balcony area, in case you want to smoke with your buddies while having your meal. There's an inside area that's very well furnished, with comfortable chairs, sofas, and separate little seating areas for larger groups. The food is very tasty: they use quality ingredients, and they present it very nicely. My Iced Latte was really good, too, and strong like I prefer it. It's a tiny bit more expensive than other restaurants I've been to locally, but not by much. It might be best to visit here with a large group of friends, order a vast variety of dishes, and share and sample them all with your friends. Their menu is vast, and I've got a feeling that everything on it is probably worth trying. (I'm here solo today, so all I could manage was their Mushroom Chilly Dry, a Banana Honey Pancake, with an Ice Latte.) ...But I'll be back here for their Yak Cheese Veg Pizza, and maybe the Paneer Chilly Dry, and I'll add in a few pics of those items when I'm back. They have free wifi, and a restroom, both of which make any restaurant visit in Leh a much better experience (at least for me!). 5 Stars Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

1. Superfast professional service with minimum waiting time. 2. Food, everytime was fresh & tasty. 3. Squeaky clean eatery with squeaky clean and fresh washroom. 4. Loved the Aloo Paratha too! Though a local outlet, their Aloo Paratha was far tastier, healthy, light and crispy than many Delhi outlets. 5. Open since early hours when most other eateries remain closed. Had a sumptuous meal at Gesmo in Leh! We ordered the chicken thukpa and mutton momos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The thukpa was rich, flavorful, and perfect for the chilly weather—comforting in every bite. The mutton momos were juicy, well-seasoned, and came with a tasty dipping sauce that elevated the flavors even more. The service was warm and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Drop by if you’re in Leh and craving some hearty local food!
