We tried their mushroom and spinach omelette and the sautéed mushrooms scrambled eggs with bagel, which were of good quality if you prefer a minimal taste. If you’re looking for a more spicy and upbeat flavor, you can choose other options from the menu. We also had their cappuccino, which was good. They have clean washrooms, which is important since it’s located on the highway and good washrooms are rare to find while traveling. The service can be improved — it was good, but not the best. German Bakery Expressway is a peaceful joint with lovely coffee, fresh bakes, and some great egg dishes. Sitting at the porch, facing the mountains with the breeze and greenery around in this season post rains , is an experience in itself. The food is delicious, the coffee really does taste good, and the desserts are well made—the blueberry cheesecake is a must-try always . For me, this is the perfect drive-in spot noceless no rush place to enjoy a cup of coffee with some akuri or bakery treats. I give it a 10/10 for the food, the atmosphere, and the beautiful sit-out view. Truly my zen place.
