Hygiene has always been a major concern for us, and unfortunately, our visit to this store Geeta Bakery left us disappointed. When we first visited, we noticed the staff wearing plastic gloves — which seemed reassuring at first — until we saw those same gloved hands being used for very unhygienic behavior. While weighing items, the owners often place food directly on the weighing scale without any barrier, and during busy hours, workers stack other customers’ food bags right on top of yours. When we raised our concerns, the owner simply brushed it off, saying “nothing happens.” If this is what’s visible in the showroom, one can only imagine what happens behind the scenes in the kitchen.
