Gangotree

Dining at this restaurant with a wonderful view of Dash N Splash will be a positive experience for customers. If you like the Indian cuisine, you should visit Gangotree. Visit this place for a break and taste perfectly cooked chaat, panipuri and dahi puri. Do not leave without trying good ice cream. A collection of great tea is recommended to visitors.

If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is terrific at this spot. Spectacular service is something guests like here. Most people say that prices are fair for what you get. The atmosphere is quiet, as clients find it. But google users haven't given this restaurant a high rating.

We are regular at gangotree. Today when i ordered sev puri, i saw an INSECT crawling out and running. Yuck! I am doubtful about the storage. When i indicated, they quickly changed. I am still doubtful about the hygiene. Secondly there is no seating arrangement. People at ibaco have seats. Whereas those waiting at gangotree have to keep standing and eat. Its extremely tiresome esp for elders as NO SEATS ARE AVAILABLE Food: 1

I always make a stop at Gangotri whenever I visit Express Avenue Mall. Their Thursday Pani Puri has been my go-to for a long time tastes really good! The other chaats are also solid. Great place for a quick and tasty snack inside the mall. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Gangotri was once renowned for its chaats, but the current state of affairs is deeply disappointing. What’s most concerning is the staff’s indifferent and dismissive attitude when genuine feedback is shared — a clear indication that customer satisfaction is no longer a priority. Take the so-called “Vada Pav” for instance — after experiencing the authentic version in Mumbai, it’s hard to even justify the name. As for the Pani Puri, the sheer size makes it nearly impossible to eat in one go. When I requested a more manageable size, the staff at the EA outlet casually responded, “Puri bada hai,” with no intent to help or adjust. Beyond size, the quality of the puri itself is abysmal — soggy, thick, and lacking the crispness that defines a good Pani Puri. It is arguably one of the worst versions I’ve come across. It’s disheartening to see a brand that once thrived on quality and service now resting on its past reputation. The attention they give during billing is noticeably absent when it comes to actual service. Sadly, Gangotri is no longer the experience it used to be.
