I visited the tea shop near this restaurant. It’s a good spot for tea and snacks, especially if you’ve come to the nearby theatre for a movie. The restaurant is also conveniently located close to the tea shop. As I searched for an option to walk in my casual clothes near Hotel Akashganga, I found that Ganga (Family) restaurant ran its services in the back of the same hotel. A narrow alley through a tiger's open mouth designed entrance led to the restaurant from the side of the Hotel. Another way to reach Ganga (Family) restaurant is through the Hotel Akashganga's main entrance.I ordered filter coffee at the front stall of the restaurant. After reaching the restaurant, I ordered Appam with Bengal gram (chana) in gravy. Both the items were well-cooked, the chana in curry dish melted in my mouth and were surprisingly less spicy. The restaurant menu was priced in the 'medium to low' range, a surprise for a capital city. The waiter service was quick. It can earn a 5 star with better lighting and maintaining greater hygiene in its kitchen and wash basin area.
