This place is five star if you can book ahead. WhatsApp at least 24 hours ahead - we were impulsive and the ready menu is not so extensive but still tasty. The restaurant is located on the third floor up the stairs on the right side when you enter the Apollo pharmacy building by climbing some stairs. It is clearly labeled on the landing of the second floor by poster. This restaurant requires traveling up stairs. We tried the Korean fried chicken which was a hit - order one portion per two people. The chef also had beef bulgogi marinating already, so we had that which was our favorite dish. You will need to order one per two people as well. Finally, we also tried the bbq pork dish which was available with an extra kick of Thai chili which raised the spice level. Everything was paired with green papaya kimchi, which was very good. If I go back, I’ll order from the order ahead menu which I believe requires a deposit. Here’s our recommendation: jajangmeon, seafood stew for fish lovers, Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki with pork, and kimbap. For dessert, the yuja cha at the next table looked good. They also got the five star service, which looked great! If you order any hot tea like ginseng or green tea, it will not be served until after dinner by custom. I’m looking forward to going back! Best Korean Food in Kolkata. Ms Noh is an extremely courteous hostess and owner. It is a must visit for everyone with tatebuss for authentic Korean cuisine.
