We usually go to this place after dinner, and so we did on Wednesday night only to see that the place has been shut down. Such eager were we to have some of FH specials that we decided to call the btm outlet, and inquire if they are open. They told us that the hsr store is being renovated, and a makeshift store exists on 19th main alongwith a restaurant named Feaster. We wasted no time and headed there. The bad experience had just begun.
We ordered our usuals - Malana cream and Strawberry Cheesecake. The stuff looked perplexed that we had landed up, there were no other customers. The usual waiting time is less than 10 mins, but they took more than half an hour to deliver the first ice cream - the Strawberry Cheesecake. The cheese was stale. The ice cream tasted quite horrible. Then came honey and nuts - no flavours whatsoever but dead sweet. Finally after 40 mins came the Malana cream, it was not even a charcoal ice cream. The ice cream usually looks black, this one looked whitish. Tasted quite bizzare, nowhere close to the one we've loved and adored.
It was time to give a feedback, and this is what pissed us off the most. The guy at the counter upon being told that the quality of ice cream was awful just ignored us blatantly, swiped the card, and started minding his own business. We were so shocked that we decided that never again we are coming back to this place. Such an attitude is outright appalling.
The only good thing about the order was the Oreo and the cookie on top of the ice cream.
NEVER going to Fritz hazber again. Bangalore has ample ice cream places which serve delicious ice cream, I'd rather travel 20kms for them than go here again.
