Valparai hasn't become fully commercialized unlike Ooty or Kodaikanal. Due to this there are only a handful of restaurants in Valparai that serve good food. Friendz Cafe is one of them. So, there may be a long wait to get a table during the weekends and long holidays. This restaurant is part of the Krishna Inn Hotel. So, there won't be a name board for the restaurant. It's a compact multi-cuisine restaurant that serves scrumptious food. During my visit here I tried Parottas, Egg Kothu Parotta, chicken gravies, fried rice and chappathi. Service was quick during my visit for dinner on a weekday. During the weekend visit it was terribly crowded, so I opted for a takeaway. Service might be slow on a crowded day. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are also available. Parking: There's no parking space for the restaurant.
