From the get go this is the cafe for those who are deeply in love with famous T.V series F.R.I.E.N.D.S
The biggest highlight is the F.R.I.E.N.D.S couch which gets you some where close to live the F.R.I.E.N.D.S experience
Ambience ( undoubtedly 5-5)
Food & services (3.5 - 5) that's the place they really need to improve , my experience was not that amazing , the price to quality ratio is not that great and there is no exclusive menus it's just the normal ones like other cafe .
Over all keeping the avg food aside it's a must visit place for all the FRIENDS lovers . It dose melts hearts .
As any other die hard fan, I was patiently waiting to visit this cafe, and yesterday came the lucky day! Can't thank you enough for this, Shahbaaz!!! :D
The exterior decor brings a smile across your face, brightly lit accentuating the white wall is a painting of the "friends." The best place to click!
Doors open, and the sheer beauty of the orange couch leaves you dumbfound! When you gain enough strength to tear your eyes away from the couch, you spot the door, the book shelf, the guitar and the brilliantly thought out decor to suit the theme! The cafe is divided into two - the sheesha section with dimly lit ambiance and comfortable sofas. And brightly lit cafe with the orange couch.
As we move on to the food, I must mention a few standout items:
*The Freak Shake*
I wanted the drink all to myself!!! This is the ultimate shake with no compromise on any item! The shake had cream, kitkats, brownies, chocolate, crumbs, milk and was soo soo good! Phew! Did I say enough? If not please go and try the drink!
*F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Delight*
The surprise drink of the evening! The array of colors leaves you happy and you just want to keep staring at the drink. It was a mix of raspberry jam, some strawberry syrup, crushed ice, some cream and what not! goodness packed together..:)
*Lasagna*
You will not be disappointed!! Baked to perfection as promised. The dish is complete without any accompaniment. The pasta sheets are cooked perfectly, the cheese is not overwhelming. Bang on taste!
Moving on....
*Can Cooler*
A refreshing drink, a lot of gingery taste with an aftertaste of spiciness from the chilli seeds. A mix of cranberry, grenadine, and dash of lime.
*Red Apple Sunset*
The name is a big away because it looks as expected! I is red, it is sunsetty! A concoct of apple juice, grenadine. and lemon.
*Green Apple Feedo Deedo*
The presentation was beautiful. The color green was dominating! Feedo Deedo is a fun name, and this was a fun drink with green apple flavoured juice!
STARTERS
*Jalapeno Poppers*
As the name suggests, an explosion of taste as you gulp down the poppers.
*Monika's Triangles*
The stuffing was so good! Wish we could more of them! A samosa shaped fried item with spinach and corn stuffing.
*The Moist Maker*
This was the best of the lot. This was the team's take on Ross's sandwich and we were not disappointed!!
MAIN COURSE
*Mediterranean Pizza*
It is a big risk to filter pizza as the main course but they pulled it off so well! Generous, yumm, filling! Loved it!
*Bechamel Mushroom*
A mushroom lovers delight! Piping hot penne pasta with dollops of mushroom sauce! Loaded with cheese, an extremely worthy dish. Do order!
DESSERTS
*Rachel's Trifle*
The friends cafe team have turned this into a dessert menu. The presentation's beautiful. Layer after layer, the colors are beautiful. There's cake, there's cream, there's chocolate, and there's Gems!!
*Monica's Mud Pie*
A dessert that looked good, and tasted heavenly. You cannot get enough of the dessert. Best part being, you don't cringe because of the sweetness! The best possible choice to close the evening with!
The place is quite on demand, and was brimming with people of a rainy, weekday evening. That speaks a lot about their popularity. I know a lot of people who are planning to visit the cafe and they will not be disappointed! I am left with happy memories of the series and the cafe! I can only smile and share my happiness with people, urging them to visit the place because they deserve every bit of the success earned!
