Well it's just an overly hyped up restaurant, nothings fresh and nothings even unique. Orders are delayed, the place where we sat felt hot no acs were present around to even cool that area maybe. Now let's talk about the food , we ordered for rawas tawa fry hara bara, only two extremely thin slices were offered for the 580 rs paid for the dish, it was a joke...atleast offer a decent cut of the fish rather that serving a thin slice as if offering to a beggar? Second dish was squid sukke which was good with the neer dosa but again could have done much better with the portion size and it was delayed beyond the time limit ( even though that was our first order), third dish prawn pulao which was the biggest flop , prawn had all it's skins on it and we even found minute stones , it was just tasteless and dry as if served just for the sake of it... At last we ordered for chicken golden fry basically it was just chicken lollypop which tasted the same as any ordinary roadside stall would serve. I was constantly staring at the pictures on the wall of Mr Francis with Sachin and many other celebs, i guess when a celeb walks in, they're served the big portions and the best dishes to impress and when a normal guest walks in ,they wanna serve the smallest portion size with tasteless menu options We also had the goan beer which was the only good thing there... A very bad experience and won't be visiting again. We paid a good amount of nearly 5k for the entire dining experience and was thoroughly disappointed. So please don't go just for the hype around this place and probably spend your hard earned money somewhere else rather than wasting your time at this restaurant. One of the biggest hype bubbles, Fresh Catch finally burst! Never expected it to be so so so bad! Lol! All those pictures of Sachin notwithstanding, this place is a DUD! Our meal happened on a weekday, and early in the evening when only two other tables were occupied. It was hot and all of us were sweating, profusely. The staff just said, multiple times, that all the air conditioners were on full blast. We even politely asked for a table/pedestal fan and it was promptly denied, though one pedestal fan was sitting idle in the corner with the TV. Allowing paying customers to keep sweating is unpardonable IMO. Staff should ideally do everything in their power to make customers comfortable. I guess with so many pictures of Sachin on the wall, why bother with idiot sweaty customers. The best part is the food - most of the things we ordered (many recommended by the staff) tasted the same - bland, characterless, papery. Only the Surmai was exceptional - really fresh with the most heavenly rachead masala. I think I tasted/munched on sand in the Crab Butter Garlic, which is ridiculous! We didn't want to order mains because it was unbearably hot and all the food we had already ordered didn't inspire much confidence. Quickly paid the unnecessarily expensive bill (with 7% Service Charge!!) and went down to the McDonald's on the ground floor for some AC and some ice cream.....never again you catching us, man Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,200–1,400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
