Went to order a birthday cake yesterday. Apart from the cake cost there is a 750 rupee designing charge and 400 for delivery. I said I will pick it up but it seems I have to still pay 400 because it's thier coat of bringing the cake from central kitchen besant nagar to their store. Charging us for their logistics seemed upsurd. Now for the designing charge.. I ordered a 1.5Kg square cake and I said I do not want any designing. But they say since I am ordering a cake I have to. Later I enquired them if I take a cake which is already in their store will I get charged the designing amount for which he said yes. I thanked him and walked away. They do not intend to do business at all. And in that 35 mins of peak time not a single customer walked in... No wonder!!!
