Tucked away at NH310A in Gangtok, Denzong Route Food Truck serves an exciting blend of Indian street food with a unique twist. Its offerings have garnered positive visitor feedback for dishes like kurkure momos and steamed chicken momo, which are praised for their size and flavor. The food truck embodies a bold concept reminiscent of popular crunchy chicken outlets, tailored to suit local tastes. This approach has distinguished it in an area where mobile food counters have struggled to establish themselves.
Patrons appreciate the generous portions, making it a great choice for sharing. It's important to note that the food truck operates with limited hours, opening only after 1:00 pm, as the owners dedicate their mornings to preparations. Although not prominently featured on mainstream restaurant directories, it is minimally represented on Google. Unfortunately, owner-supplied information remains sparse, with the last available reviews dating back three years, leaving curious foodies eager for more recent updates. Nonetheless, the truck remains a favored spot for delicious takeaways, continuing to entice those in search of hearty street snacks.
Denzong Route Food Truck is a new secret in town. We’ve seen some experiments with such mobile food counters and it all closed for whatever reasons, but this one here is different because the idea has stuck. Firstly it’s a unabashed KFC (only chicken crunchy munchy street food ) concept with a local twist at a price and location that you were looking for. It’s a prime example of how a little twist in the tale churns out a whole new different story. Highly recommend the crispy momos. A word of caution is that a plate of momos will serve two persons easily...Good wholesome potions is another attraction. BTW, it only opens after 1:00 pm, until that time the couple owners are busy preparing for the day. Check out the phone number and menu posted for takeaways.
