I recently visited Food Point and decided to try their egg curry based on the recommendation of the server. Unfortunately, my experience with the dish was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the egg curry was excessively spicy. I appreciate a bit of heat in my food, but the level of spiciness in this dish was overpowering and made it difficult to enjoy the flavors of the curry. It would have been much more enjoyable if the spice level had been toned down to a more manageable level. Furthermore, the dish was also quite oily. The excess oil floating on the surface of the curry detracted from the overall taste and texture of the dish. It left a greasy aftertaste, which was not at all pleasant. Considering these aspects, I find it hard to recommend the egg curry at Food Point. While taste preferences can vary, the excessive spiciness and oiliness of the dish were significant drawbacks for me. I believe that a well-balanced and flavorful curry should be the goal of any restaurant, and unfortunately, this dish did not meet those expectations. On a positive note, the service at Food Point was friendly and efficient. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the staff was attentive. However, the subpar experience with the egg curry overshadowed these positive aspects. In conclusion, based on my experience with the egg curry, I cannot recommend Food Point. If you are looking for a restaurant with a variety of flavorful dishes, I suggest exploring other options in the area.
