I visited Barbeque Nation in Virar today with my family for a non-veg lunch, and overall, we had a delightful experience. The ambience was welcoming, the staff was polite, and the food lived up to most of our expectations. Starters: The highlight of our meal was definitely the starters. The modified prawns they served were absolutely delicious and stood out as the best part of our dining experience. I would especially recommend this place to all prawn lovers, as the quality and flavor were impressive. The chicken leg pieces, however, were a bit of a letdown — they were slightly hard and could have been more tender and juicy. Fried corn was another enjoyable starter, crispy and flavorful. Main Course: In the main course, I tried butter naan with egg curry, and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. The naan was soft and well-made, and the egg curry had a good balance of spices. However, I did notice that mutton items were missing from the menu today, which was a bit disappointing, especially for meat lovers looking for variety. Desserts & Drinks: The kulfi was another highlight — rich, creamy, and a perfect end to the meal. They offer four different complimentary soft drinks; I tried the fresh lime water, which was refreshing and my personal favorite. Conclusion: Barbeque Nation, Virar offers a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience, especially if you're a fan of seafood. The prawns are a must-try, and there are plenty of options to enjoy across starters, mains, and desserts. With minor improvements in the chicken texture and the inclusion of mutton items, the experience would be even better. Would definitely recommend for families and Prawn lovers!
