We recently stopped by Jannah Bakery and Food Court while returning from Munnar to Kochi. It was an unplanned visit, mainly to buy chocolates and gifts, and we were pleasantly surprised. The shop has a neat and inviting setup with a wide variety of chocolates, halwas, dry fruits, and souvenirs, making it a great spot for travelers looking to pick up quick gifts or local treats. The pricing is fair and reasonable for the quality and variety offered. We spent some time exploring the chocolate section, which featured both local and imported options. The gift section also had interesting selections, from traditional sweets to small souvenirs. The staff were polite and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. Although the restaurant section was open, it appeared quite empty despite it being a weekend, so we didn't try any food items. Therefore, we can’t comment on the taste or quality of their meals. However, the bakery side of the shop was well-maintained and seemed to be their main focus. Overall, Jannah Bakery and Food Court is a good pit stop for anyone traveling along this route—especially for chocolates, halwa, and gift items. Absolutely pathetic customer service from the hotel. We waited for more than half an hour and still no one came to take orders. We called the waiters there to come to us and take order, but they completely avoided us. The fun fact is that half of the tables there were empty. A few sets of families were also pissed off with the customer service. Not at all recommended. Service: 1

I can only vouch for the spicy al-faham mandi, porotta and the lunch meals (fish/veg). Same cannot be applied for the biryani (chicken/veg) and the chicken fried rice. AC dining is much better in terms of cleanliness, comfortable seating and atmosphere. Their bakery section sells imported chocolates and canned drinks along with stationery items and toys for kids.
