This place is highly recommended for everyone. I really appreciate what they doing and how they are running the business. The taste of the food is very close to what they would get in the origin city of that dish. I saw this shop on my way back to the car after eating my lunch. So I had no space for another meal. I spoke to the owner who explained why they started it and kindly offered a small bowl of chole. Perfect taste. I knew I had to come back. On my last day in Shillong I left from the hotel early - skipping breakfast at the hotel - knowing I was going here. In the heavy rain , eating this in the car was my perfect meal. The city of Shillong felt very challenging and kind of hard to understand for me as a traveller. Where a lot of locals are not welcoming to outsiders. I had terrible food experiences elsewhere. So, I would thank this owner for being kind and welcoming to us. He is doing a great job. Must visit for everyone as a breakfast spot.
