The duck roast was a pleasant surprise. While it was tasty, the texture was a bit unusual. It was tender, almost like chicken, but with a crispy duck skin. The chicken fry, on the other hand, was a classic and well-executed dish. I had Porotta, Beef dry fry and chicken roast from here. Food tasted fine for me. BDF was average in taste. I have had better ones from other restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Five Star Thattukada is indeed a good restaurant offering a variety of general food items. The Chicken Kuruma, Porotta, Pathiri, Chilly Chicken, and Mango Kulukki were all standout choices. The Chicken Kuruma was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the soft and flaky Porotta. The Chilly Chicken had the right balance of spice and flavor, leaving a satisfying kick on the palate.
