Balak Shishu Mandir is a must to visit after wonderful meals at this restaurant. If hungry, come here for perfectly cooked fish curry, prawns and rice & curry. The success of Fish Curry Rice wouldn't be possible without the cool staff. Spectacular service is something visitors appreciate here. A number of guests who visited this place rated it 4.4 on Facebook.

Opted for the regular pomfret fry thali (Rs.630/- now at RS.300/- offer). Thali consisted of one fried pomfret, bangda curry, prawn curry, dry fish (sukkat), cauliflower pickle, garlic red chutney and corriander chutney, 3 small Chappati and one bowl rice .
One of my friend opted for surmai fry rest items were the same.
The thali was very filling, had excellent bangda and prawn curry. Solkadhi was also good. Fish was fresh. However I felt for a fish thali, the fish pieces were not enough. One small pomfret fry , one small piece of bangda in the curry and one spoonful of prawns (3medium sized prawns). The waiter said in Rs.300/- You will get this much only..!!
However the thali met most expectations overall and indeed kiddos to the year on year consistency..!
