Chicken murtabak : The chicken mince meat was well cooked with the spices and stuffed inside the flat bread pocket. Once the flat bread was stuff with the stuffing it was pan fried to make it crisp and crunchy from outside.
Pumpkin chips: Did i wrote pumpkin chips? Yes, I had it for the first time. Perfectly thin slice dipped in the batter and deep-fried later tossed with the sweet and savoury sauce. Amazing was the feeling when i had it.
Fire cracker prawn's: Nice juicy, well spiced and tender jumbo prawn wrap in roll shape on the top with some thin noodles added to it.
Negima - The small chicken thigh pieces well marinated in the smoky sauce. The chicken pieces were skewed and slow cooked in the grill .
Tebasaki - The chicken wings were perfectly fried and then tossed in the smokey sweet and savory sauce. It was presented on the wooden skewer.
Chicken bao : The soft moist freshly made white bread. Stuffed with the veggies and chicken strips tossed in the different light and creamy sauce garnished with freshly chopped coriander and sour cream.
Sushi Bento Box : Bento box means one complete portion/ meal. And Sushi bento box has complete sushi meal from Sushi, soy sauce, salad, very small portion of wasabi and ginger pickle. The taste was amazing and never miss dish from the menu.
Slow cooked Thai chicken ramen: The taste of the soup was creamy texture with the hint of coconut milk. And the soft ramen noodles with half boiled egg yummy.
Thai Mutton Choos: One of the best mutton chops i have had in recent time. Soft tendered buttery flavored along with some mashed potatoes to enhance the flavor of it. The meat was easily coming out of the bone.
Desserts:
Pan Ice Cream - I have had many pan ice cream but nothing can beat this. As it has strong flavor of pan leaf and gulkand. One bite from this ice ceam can refresh your mind.
Pudding Raja : The raja has two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a caramalized banana.
Jaggery Ice Cream - As i am not fan of jaggery just i had a small bite from the ice cream and it was good for me.
Fikkanaut means Fikkar not and the food will ensure that. Malaka Spice is one of my favorite restaurants in Hyderabad cause they never disappoint me. Fikkanaut is the bar above Malaka and the super hit items of Malaka are available on their menu(smaller portion size though). We were a group of five who hit the bar for their Sunday Brunch and we had loved it!
The murtabaq mutton is a dream dish! The melt in the mouth mutton stuffing is so well spiced and well cooked that it will keep haunting you.
The top hats is another very well prepared, popular and Malaka special dish.
Do not miss the Yakitori! Especially the Tebasaki. The sauce was finger licking good!
I quite liked the Bento box with the prawn sushi. Loved the way it is presented. They do not use the sushi rice but still get it almost right.
The slow cooked thai chicken ramen hits your brain right through your nostrils! What an aroma! Very very well prepared and amazing!
And the Malaka special Iced Tea just goes perfectly with the delectable food! In the end, Fikkanaut delivers exactly what Malaka promises and more!
Thank you Piyush, you were an amazing host as always!
