Pure Bliss at Palolem – A Stay to Remember! I discovered Fernandes Wooden Cottages by chance during a sunset walk to the far end of Palolem Beach—and what a magical find! My first visit was for dinner, where I was served the most delicious, beautifully plated prawns with fries, salad, and even a little candle—such a thoughtful touch. From that night on, I returned every morning for coffee and a swim until I finally asked Sash about staying—and just like that, I moved into beautiful Hut #9. I stayed for 11 nights (March–early April 2025) and it was absolute paradise. The hut felt luxurious, peaceful, and perfectly tucked into the natural beauty of the beach. The hospitality was incredibly warm—Sanjay and Happy greeted me every morning with coffee and a smile, and every meal was better than the last. I ended up not eating anywhere else! Everything was clean, calm, and exactly the relaxed solitude I was craving. Fernandes is a special corner of Palolem I’ll never forget—and I can’t wait to return. GG

One of the best experiences I ever had. The rooms are so near the beach and sleeping every night to the sweet sound of the gentle waves. The food at the cottage is also amazing. And the staff have always been approachable and keen to provide help and service at odd hours too. The staff has taken care of us in every way possible. I am definitely going back again and again.
